BIOGRAPHY: Copy of baptisimal record: "Extract 9394. Out of the Baptisimal Registor of the Church of St. Gertrude in Dose in Hamburg District Ritzebuttel in the year 1822, page 43, #46. The undersigned baptized the son of Clas Dreyer, a working man, born in Altenbruch in Stuckabuttel, and Catharina Elisbeth, born (Ahrens) Of Cuxhaven on the 6th of October 1822. He was born at 6 A.M. on the 16th of September and named Johann Henrich ---John Henry.

DEATH: The Holton Recorder, 1 February 1900 said:

Grandpa Dryer, of South Cedar, who has until recently been confined in the insane asylum at Topeka, died at his home very suddenly Sunday evening. We were unable to learn the cause of his death.
