Rose-Marie Rowe gives the following information in Oct 2020:

I have been doing quite a lot of Research so this Johannes Francois Marais was my Great-Grandfather he was actually married 3 times, his 2nd wife who was the sister of his first wife, died in the Boer War concentration camp in Pietersburg in 1901 the day after giving birth to her 2nd Son, (he was unnamed and died the following day). Her 1st son was 4 years old and in the concentration camp as well.
