Mentioned in a record as "Cüster" (sexton) in Basse along with his wife and daughter, both named Anna. He is listed on page 292 after the pastor, Dietrich Flebbe, who is mentioned in the Basse Chronicle as having served as pastor from 1627 until his death in 1667. He is also listed as a "cüster" in Basse on page 233, in a record dated to 10/16/1649.
