A Prominent Citizen Passes Away
John Schoessler, a farmer residing in the neighborhood of Farrier's Springs, died at his home last Saturday night of tuberculosis. Mr. Schoessler was seventy-one years of age. He came to this country four years ago, from Saratov, Russia, the place of his birth. His loss is mourned by a wife and six grown children. He was a brother of Jacob Schoessler, county commissioner.
Funeral services were held from the German Congregational church at Menno, last Tuesday.
