About Johannes White de Colyngham
There may be some connection to the Yatley/Farnham/Swanborne/Hutton Whites, but it is at this time distant and obscure. (According to "Transactions of the Thoroton Society", both families descend from a Bartholomew le Wite of Stoke Nayland, Suffolk, and his wife Alice, living in 1272.)
Johannes (John) White of Colyngham (Collingham) was cited in 1433 in a list of local notables compiled by commissioners appointed by Henry VI.
Not a member of the Whites of Swanbourne or connected families.
