His wife, Christina Helena Cilliers was aged 22 years and a Spinster from the Bethlehem Congregation. They were Married at the NG Kerk, Bethlehem after Banns and with her parents consent on 13 September 1880 by Presiding Minister, Ds C.P. Theron in the presence of the following Witnesses : A.Kok / G. Muller
