16. Johannes Christianssen* VAN HORN was christened on 18 Mar 1657 in Dutch Reformed Church, New Amsterdam, New York. He died about 1697 in Bergen Co., N.J.. Johannes married Lenah BOONE on 5 Mar 1681/1682.
New Amsterdam:
A settlement established in 1624 by the Dutch at the mouth of the Hudson River on the southern end of Manhattan Island. It was the capital of New Netherland from 1626 to 1664, when it was captured by the British and renamed New York.
He died previous to 1-31-1708, on which date his widow married Michael Mallenother. Johannais made his will 2-26-1703.

Christian and Barent moved to West Sprintfield, Mass about 1703, and were the founders of the Mass. Van Horns.
