About John Alexander Macdonald
It is my understanding that Grandfather Macdonald died when I (Jo) was six months old, which would put it in September, 1929. I will try to find out more about this from his death certificate.
He was a watchmaker. I think that Cousin Fred "Tommy" Tomaschke could shed more light on this. Fred is the son of Marjorie "Bebe" Macdonald Tomaschke. I believe Fred and Mary's daughter-in-law, Tina, has a lot of the Macdonald trivia, also. Will check and see and relay.
