"Massachusetts, Births and Christenings, 1639-1915," index, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F458-HYM : accessed 10 Feb 2014), Sarah Banke, 30 Mar 1668.: Sarah Banke was born to John Banke and Hannah on March 30, 1668 in Chelmford, Middlesex, MA. In other sources the surname is Barke or Bauke. Remember that all records were written and they weren't always easy to read.
. Alternative Surname: Torrey: Bake, Baker, Bank, Bauk (Source: Clarence Almon Torrey, Torrey - New England Marriages Prior to 1700, (1985, Genealogical Publishing Co., Inc.).)
This Hannah Jenkins was the daughter of Joel Jenkins and Sarah Gilbert. I always check names of children to see if there are any identical names to grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc. There is no Mary (John Bauke's and Hannah's children) in the Joel Jenkins / Sarah Gilbert lineage. However, the name Sarah would have come from her mother's mother. And the name Hannah... well, that was her mother's name.
One more piece of information could go into this. John Bauk / Banke is often considered to be been one of the Scottish soldiers captured at the Battle of Dunbar on September 5, 1650, and deported to New England on the "Unity" by Cromwell; he was in Saugus, Maine, from 1651 to 1656 or 57. This would explain why no records of his coming to New England or his lineage elsewhere have been found anywhere.
My evaluation: it's really hard to tell from this evidence. We have no birth record for John Bauk or Hannah Jenkins. We also have no marriage record. It's also clear that John went by a few different surnames (or was it just difficult to read handwriting?) But how do we get the name John Baker out of John Bauk if they were both the same man who married Hannah Jenkins?
Sarah Banke's records are well attested. She would have been 18 years old when she married. That makes sense for this place and time. One of her daughters was named Hannah, and that would fit into the naming pattern. The time lapses just work for John Bauk's wife being Hannah Jenkins. He died in May 1683, and Hannah Jenkins married Joseph Parker in November 1683 or 1984. That would give 5 months according to many records, or 1 1/2 years according to another set of vital statistics of Woburn. This often happened in those days - Hannah would have needed a father for her three little girls as quickly as possible. But then where does this record of Joseph Baker marrying Hannah Bauk in 1686 come from? This is most likely the daughter Hannah Bauk born in 1666. Some genealogies list a third sister named Hannah - I don't know what source it comes from.
