John N Barron

It doesn't seem likely to me that John was born in Somerset County, PA. His parents were born and died in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts, according to research posted on Geni. John's siblings were also all born in Chelmsford.

Furthermore, the earliest known settlers in Somerset County arrived about 1762, according to John C. Cassady's The Somerset County Outline, published in 1932 [page 249]. This is much too late for John's birth circa 1703.
