About John Beal, III

Biography

John, the third of the name and son of John and Mary (Gill) Beal, was born at Hingham, MA on December 19, 1669.[1][2]

He married Elizabeth Hersey, daughter of William and Rebecca Hersey, at Hingham on May 18, 1695.[3] They had four children, three of which reached adulthood.

Constable 1707; selectman 1698.[3]

John resided at Hingham, on South Street at the corner of Hersey Street.[3]

He died on August 26, 1731 at HIngham.[3][4][5] but August 20, 1731 is the date inscribed on his gravestone. He is buried at Hingham Cemetery.[6]
