John Biddle

Grandson of William Biddle I and Sarah Kempe Biddle, the founders of the Biddle Family in American.

He was the younger brother of William Biddle III. John and William Biddle III started the Biddle Family in Philadelphia.

Married Sarah Owen, March 3, 1735. They had five children.

1). Owen Biddle (April 11, 1737-march 19, 1799). Married Sarah Parke, September 29, 1760.

2). Clement Biddle (May 10, 1740-July 14, 1814). Married Mary Richardson, who died in 1773. Married Rebekah Cornell August 14, 1774.

3). Ann Biddle (May 29, 1742- ). Married James Wilkinson, November 12, 1778.

4). Sarah Biddle (1748-October 24, 1794). Married James Penrose, March 15, 1766. He died 1771. Married John Shaw, August 15, 1776. Died circa 1783. Married Rodolfe Tellier, November 16, 1784.
