John Rostron Blackham

John Rostron Blackham, died at 6 a.m. today at Utah Valley Hospital, Provo, following a long illness. He was born August 7, 1898, in Moroni, the son of John M. and Mary Ann Rostron Blackham. He married Olena Elizabeth Rostron January 19, 1925, in Malad, Idaho. He worked in the Refillworth mines as a tipple man. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his wife of Orem; four sons and three daughters, Jack and Lamar (Bud) both of Orem, Doyle of Kenilworth, Utah, Virden of Green River, Utah, Mrs. Glade (Betty) Butterfield of Payson, Mrs. Lawrence (Urilda) Potts of Dugway, Mrs. J. C. (Olena) Hunt of Green River; 20 grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters, Archie and Rich, both of Long Beach, California, Lester of Spring Glen, Mrs. Kate Mackey of Provo, Mrs. Don (Jennie) Polve of Kenilworth, Mrs. Hans (Fontelta) Christensen of Moroni, and Mrs. Robert (Annie) Nielson of Huntington. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary, Orem.
