About John Boone, of All-Hallows
England, Extracted Parish and Court Records
His father Capt. Robert Boone was the half-brother of John Boone, I which is the direct line to the PA Boones, as well as the English Boones that remained loyal to the King. These Boone sons’ father and grandfather are the disputed area, but most genealogists tie them back through Sir John Boone of Midhurst’s line to Humphrey de Bohun. summarized some of my files to hopefully make them easier to follow. John Boone, Sr Esq. (1603-1658), was executed by Oliver Cromwell, his sons Thomas and John (our direct line) fled to America after their mother’s death in 1669.
The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple is where John Boone Sr, Esq. was sent at an early age, which is how he ended up in London. He was born in Zuid-Holland (South Holland), baptized at St Mary Magdalene Church, Taunton, England, married at St Andrew By The Wardrobe, London, England as he was an attorney by then, which is where all of his children were born. All of his children were baptized at St Andrew by the Wardrobe, which of source includes our John Boone, Jr. of “The Cliffs, Calvert County, Maryland.) (Martin Dressman researcher.)
