According to Summers county History, Page 569, they had 8 children, but records furnished by Celcilia Schiller shows 10 children, among them Emma Ann Boardman Bragg. Emma's Obituary stated that she was survived by three brothers and two sisters. Also, according to Summer county history, two sons remained in Summers Co. after Rev. John, in 1884, and several of this children moved to Imperial, Chase Co, Nebraska. They were Judson and Braxton, who was named after the two famous generals of the same name-one a confederate and the other a Union General of Wisconsin. One daughter, Mrs. Dr. Clement White lived in Raleigh. Rev. John was appointed Deputy county Clerk when Summers County was formed in 1871. (Celia Schiller sent a list of 17 children of Reb. John Bragg. These were taken from Census and other official county records.
