• "When George was 16 yr. old he emigrated to Jeffereson, Co., OH. with his widowed mother and bro & sister, both younger than Geo.
• In 1818 he m. Ruth Taylor in 1823 he emigrated to Wash. Twp. Tusc. Co., OH. with his wife & 3 children, a few household goods, & 50c in money.
• There is a story about his son Thomas T. Chadwell in "History fo Tusc. Co., OH", 1884, with the story of his father."
