   Patricia Crowder Yaw determined that John Crowder born 1718, and lived in Prince George Co. Va. was the father of William Crowder born about 1766/66 who was the father of Abel, James, Jonathan and Littleberry Crowder.

   Patricia has written the story of "The Harness Makers" First Crowders in America

   Patricia has written about her direct ancestors and their move with the wagon train from Virginia to Illinois in 1854.

   This book also contains research that she and I worked on together and is actual Genealogical Events

   These events include, births, marriages, land purchases, census indexes and Crowder relationships; Included are Bartholomew Crowder and his sons, Abraham Crowder and his sons, and the numerous Williams. Patty has researched Property Tax records, land deeds and census records which give clues to the identity of these individuals that have caused the novice researcher such headaches. She can l match these fathers and sons and give their locations.

   I am still researching John Crowder to make my own determination on his being the parent of William Crowder, who is the parent of William Able Crowder. At this time, I think she is right, but I am just double checking. We researched together for over a year, but I had complications to my diabetes that kept me from actually finishing the research and she was able to determine this on her own.
