John Crump

Thomas Crump came to Va on the Bony Bess in 1624 . was burgess for James City, February, 1631-32, for Neck of Land, September, 1632. It is probable that he married Elizabeth, a daughter of Rev. Richard Buck. (1)

Thomas and Elizabeth Buck Crumpe's son and heir, John, patented 1,500 acres in the Neck O Land in 1654. Included were 250 acres he acquired on the basis of headrights, his maternal grandfather's 750 acres, and his uncle Peleg Buck's 500 acres.

The only proven male child of Sargent Thomas Crump is John Crump.

THE ONLY DOCUMENTED SON OF THOMAS CRUMP OF JAMESTOWN AMD ELIZABETH BUCK WAS JOHN CRUMP. THIS JOHN CRUMP DID NOT HAVE ANY SONS, THUS NO MALE CRUMP CAN CLAIM A PATERNAL ONLY LINE OF DESCENT FROM THOMAS CRUMP.
