John - One of the reasons I posted this Bible record was because it is the only documented information I have found on these folks.The DAR article says that this Bible was the "property of John Blaker of Loudon".And it also says that "John Blaker son of Peter and Sarah Blaker was born the 1st of September (?) 1767/9".What caught my eye was the listing of their children with the same or nearly the same names and birth dates as the John Blaker and Sarah Fenton children.The article continues with page 680 of the Bible listing the marriage of Samuel Laycock and Matilda Blaker, and then the births of their children.It appears to me to be a Bible that belonged to John Blaker and then passed on to his daughter, Matilda.What documented proof do we have of the children of Peter Blaker and his wife, Sarah?Is there a will, probate, baptismal, Bible or other records that anyone has a copy of?And what documented proof do we have that John Blaker married Sarah Fenton?Is this in the Loudoun County marriage records and, if so, does anyone have a copy of those records?Do those records also show that James Blaker married Mary Dutton?Is it possible that the clerk made an error and 'switched' the two wives for these brothers?Does anyone have a copy of a will/probate record for John Blaker and/or his wife?What about a will/probate record for his brother James?So many quetions!!Does anyone have any answers? http://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/blaker/53/
