About John Dudley, 2nd Earl of Warwick
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Dudley,_2nd_Earl_of_Warwick
John Dudley, 2nd Earl of Warwick (c. 1527 – 21 October 1554) was the third son of John Dudley, 1st Duke of Northumberland and his wife Jane Guildford. He became his father's heir after his eldest brother had been killed in 1544 during the siege of Boulogne under Henry VIII.[1] After the accession of Edward VI in 1547, John Dudley assumed the old title of his father, Viscount Lisle.[2] After his father had become a duke in 1551, the younger John Dudley was styled Earl of Warwick.
