JOHANNES DOESBURY, who was born and baptized in 1666 in the New York Dutch Reform Church, and who married Mary __________born in 1668. They had two children, John and Mary.

IV.       JOHANNES “JOHN” VAN DOESBURG, born circa 1661, at Hempstead on Long Island, New York.The 1722 will of Arthur Albertis was witnessed by JOHANNES, who signed his name as “John Dussenberry” identifies him as a Quaker.He raised sheep on Long Island.He married MARY (surname unknown)

(note: not to be confused with his older brother of same name: JOHANNES VAN DOESBURG, baptized in New Amsterdam [New York City] in the Dutch Reform Church on 28 August 1661, and died in infancy.)

Johannes Van Does(en)burg aka Dusenbury was born in 1666 in New York. He died 1734 in Hempstead, New York.

He was the second child of his parents to bear the given name of Johannes as there is in New Amsterdam baptisms an entry for Johannes thus: 1661 Aug 28; Hendrick Van Doesburg, Marritie Hendricks; Johannes; Joost Goderus Van Haerlem, Grietie Jans. [2]

John and Mary Dusenboroh appear in Hempstead Census of 1698. [3][4]

Johannes Doesbury who was born and baptized in 1666 in the New York Dutch Reform Church, and married Mary (b. 1668). They had two children, John and Mary. Note: Some records indicate that his wife's name was Susanna Van Doesbury.
