Johannes Van Does(en)burg aka Dusenbury was born in 1666 in New York. He died 1734 in Hempstead, New York.

He was the second child of his parents to bear the given name of Johannes as there is in New Amsterdam baptisms an entry for Johannes thus: 1661 Aug 28; Hendrick Van Doesburg, Marritie Hendricks; Johannes; Joost Goderus Van Haerlem, Grietie Jans. [2]
John and Mary Dusenboroh appear in Hempstead Census of 1698. [3][4]
Johannes Doesbury who was born and baptized in 1666 in the New York Dutch Reform Church, and married Mary (b. 1668). They had two children, John and Mary. Note: Some records indicate that his wife's name was Susanna Van Doesbury.
