About John Eno
Notes
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Eno-3
John's birth record gives the last name of Enno; the surname is more commonly spelled Eno, but according to NEHGS, is also found in various records as Ennoe, Enoe, or Enos. John was a son of James and Hannah/Anne (Unknown) [Bidwell] Eno; he married Mary Dibble (surname also subject to various spellings, including "Deble") in May, 1681.
John Eno's date of death is uncertain; it has been suggested variously as June 1713; as 10 May 1681 in Jersey City, Hudson, New Jersey; and as after 27 Aug 1694 in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The latter is for the present shown in this profile based on the deed of that date noted below. It should however be noted that the deed shows representation, as attorney, by his brother James -- and the presence of John's wife Mary -- but does not in fact prove that John Eno was still alive on this date.
