John Fletcher was born on 26 August 1692 in Concord, the fifth child of eleven of Samuel and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Fletcher of Concord.

He married Mary Goble, daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Shepard) Goble of Concord in Watertown, Massachusetts on 10 May 1715. They had nine children recorded in Concord between 1716 and 1733.

There is no record of the death or burial of John Fletcher.
