GULBRANDSON, John - Wisconsin 15th Inf Co D. Residence: New Lisbon, Juneau County, Wisconsin. Civil War: Age 31. Unmarried. Enlisted for three years on 28 Oct 1861 at New Lisbon, and mustered at Madison, Wisconsin, on 8 Dec 1861. Private. Sick in Nashville, Tennessee, 26 Dec 1863; was in the Convalescent camp of the 1st Division. Sick and sent to camp hospital from the battlefield on 19 Sep 1863 (1864?). Sick in a hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on 24 Sep 1863 (1864?) and was there on 24 Oct and 28 Nov. Mustered out with Company D on 13 Feb 1865 at Chattanooga, Tennessee.
