Said to be the contractor/builder of the Tate County, MS courthouse in Senatobia MS. Buried with him in this plot in unmarked graves are wife Mary Jane who died in September 1918 and son Ashley who died in 1902. Also buried in plot are two grandchildren: Earl H. Carrington (Marked), an infant of W.G. Cocke (unmarked) and Wrennie G. Carrinton (no marker).
