'"A Thomas Hynson 1621-1668 had a wife named Grace. He came from England to America around 23 Jan. 1651 where he eventually owned over 5,000 acres of land and held offices in Talbot and Kent co., Md. The first Court of Talbot was held in 1662 and one of the seven justices was Thomas Hynson. In 1663 Thomas Hynson foreman of a jury of inquest. Other members Thomas Jr., John Hynson, Daniel Golver and Thomas Norris, his sons and son-in-law [Ct. Rec. Talbot co., Md.; History of Talbot co., Tilghman pg. 203 & 205].

- 1) Thomas Jr. m. Ann, he d. 1679 In a power of attorney dtd 20 Jun 1670 from Ann Hynson, wife of Thomas Jr. to Thomas Norris , he was empowered to represent her in the sale of a parcel of land called "Grayson's Rectified";

There is another Ann who married Thomas Hinton, confusing. - - - Thomas Norris b. c. 1608 who wed Ann Hynson was older than this Thomas Sr. Hynson b. 1620 and Ann was probably his sister."
