John Stephen Kimball, Sr.

SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for John S. Kimball, 60, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Hill Crest Memorial Park, with Rev. Miles Holladay officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Mr. Kimball entered into rest October 9, 2007 in Shreveport. He was a 1965 graduate of Jesuit High School, 1975 graduate of Northwestern State University, a graduate of St. Joseph Anesthesia School in 1977, a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, a certified Nurse Anesthesist, and a resident of Shreveport.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. David C. and Annie Kimball.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-five years, Gale Bohanan Kimball, daughter, Katie Jackson and husband Zach of Shreveport, LA; son, Stephen Kimball and fiance' Heather Ford of Bossier City, LA; brothers, Alan S. Kimball of Keithvile, LA; David S. Kimball and Thomas S. Kimball, both of Shreveport, LA; sister, Claire Dyess of Keithville, LA; two grandchildren, Hannah Gale Jackson and Bella Marie Jackson.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Rusheon Middle School , and employees of Willis-Knighton South Operating Room, for their care and support.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to The Kidney Foundation of Louisiana.
