JOHN KING, Jr., married as early as 1647, Hester (Esther) Bayley,<ref>Torrey’s New England Marriages Prior to 1700. (Online database. AmericanAncestors.org. Her father, in his will dated 23 May, 1681, gives unto his daughter Esther, the wife of John King, £20. John King of Weymouth made his will 2 Dec. 1686, and it was probated 29 Apr. 1691. He mentions his wife Esther and what she has received from her father Thomas Bayley, his youngest daughters Patience and Johannah, his son Samuel his children, his son Hezekiah, his son John, his daughter Sarah Bogle, and his daughters Susan and Esther.His wife Esther to be executrix. Mr. Samuel Torrey and Jonas Humphrey, Sr., overseers. Witnesses: Dea. Jonas Humphrey, Richard Phillips andJonas Humphrey, Jr. His inventory was taken 29 (month missing), 1688 and it refers to his homestead and other lands on "Wester neck", "ye Island," "Grape Island," "y great plaine" and "ye second division."
