Biography ==John was born about 1630. He passed away after 1690. He settled in Jamaica in about 1675. He was granted 372 acres in St James in 1686. His will was dated 10 May 1690. It has been suspected that John was the son of Henry Lawrence (1600–1664) and Amy (Peyton) Lawrence (1605-).
