John Loveland

John was the son of Thomas and Charity Hart Loveland. Thomas was born in England about 1641 in County Norwich, England. So John was the first generation of Lovelands born in America. John operated a grist mill in Glastonbury.

He and his wife Keziah Williams Loveland had seven known children, at least two of whom fought in the Revolutionary War, Thomas and Jonathan.
