According to genealogist and researcher Dr. David Boles, John MacQueen and Anne (Mackintosh) MacQueen should be the parents of Dugal. I have personally corresponded with Dr. Boles over the parentage of Dugal McQueen.

John McQueen, b. ca 1640?, d. p 1719 in co. Inverness, Scotland m. ca 1665? to Anne Mackintosh, see Mackintosh Line . John was of Pollochaig (Pollochak), co. Inverness . In 1671 he was called "John mcquein of pollochak" when the Valuation Roll showed he held an estate worth £50 "including the Earle of Murrayes few Duties" .
