About John Mack
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/23643553/john-mack
In the 1680's there is mention of bridges and roads in Old Lyme, Connecticut; with a branch which took off on what is now the Saunders Hollow Rd to Rt 156. It looped around a swamp and reached Lord's Cove at Flying Point. It continued through the old Mack farm and joined the Ely's Ferry Road. (Lyme Yesterdays, by James E. Harding; Peguot Press 1967; pg. 42).
