John Henry Madden

Mr. John Henry Maddin, born July 31, 1881, died on December 18, 1939 at his home near Jericho following a long illness. He was one of seven children and was twice married.

He is survived by two children of his first marriage: Mrs. Rebecca Adkins, Middletown, Ohio and Mr. Everett Maddin, who lived with his father. He was married to Miss Rose May on July 4, 1914, who with their three children, Mr. W. E. Maddin, Crestwood, Mrs. Mary Lee Waits, Crestwood and Mrs. Johnny C. McClure, Indianapolis and several grandchildren, survive him.

Funeral services were conducted at the home on December 20th by Rev. W. L. Kash, Irvine, a lifelong friend of the family. Burial was in the Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange.
