About John Martin Mann, Jr
My grandfather was the eldest of 15 children born to Johann and Elizabeth (Golling) Mann. He married Katherine Bruch of the Killaly area on April 30, 1918. They had a family of six childen and farmed most of their lives just south of Lemberg, Saskatchewan. They moved to a farm in the Hodgeville/Vanguard area in 1928 but returned to their Lemberg farm in 1934. They remained on the land until 1976 when they moved to Lemberg. Grandpa spent the last few years in St. Paul's Nursing Home in Melville before passing away.
Children: Elizabeth (b. 1919, d. 2004), Henry (b. 1921, d. 1922), Clara (b. 1923, d. 2009), Florence (b. 1925, d. 2008), Edward (b. 1932, d. 1995), Robert (b. 1937).
