John Mason is first mentioned in Prince George Co. as a witness: Land in Waynoak Parish. p. 146 Deed, 7 July 1712, Thomas Chappel of Prince George Co., to John Lanyer of same, for 10 shillings, land in Waynoak Parish, where said John now lives 1339 acres, according to the ancient and known bounds.
