John Mayo was born on 4 October 1725 at Eastham. He was the son of Nathaniel Mayo and Mehitable Rogers.

Living 16 Sept. 1760 when he was named in his father's will.

Poss. he was the John MAYO, Jr. of Eastham who m. Harwich 6 April 1749 Ruth NICKERSON of Harwich. They were apparently listed with the Eastham church in 1774. No known children.
