About John Harvey McCall
Clarion Democrat
June 4, 1896
Mr. John McCall, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of this county, died at his home in Perry township on Thursday, May 28th, at the advanced age of 85 years, and was buried at Concord Presbyterian church, of which he was member for forty years, last Saturday. The deceased was the son of Robert McCall, one of the pioneer settlers or [sic] the county, and was born and raised, and lived all his life in Perry township. He was a man of the most excellent character. His integrity, his honesty and the purity of his motives were never questioned. Three sons and one daughter survive him: Harrison, Lyman and Findley McCall and Mrs. Peter Peters. As a ripened shock he falls, honored and esteemed by his fellow men.* Reference: Find A Grave Memorial - SmartCopy: Mar 21 2022, 2:05:02 UTC
