Kenosha Newspaper coverage Jun 4 Front Page: Mystery is Solved. Mystery connected w/disappearance of John OHare is partially cleared up for shortly aft noon today remains of missing man were found floating in Kenosha River at point a few rods from place where remains of brother Barney OHare were found early in Mar...almost impossible to identify. Remains were taken to station & shortly aft dinner Joseph OHare, youngest son of deceased went to station & positively identified remains. Nothing had been touched abt OHares clothing & his watch was in same pocket where he had worn it when he left home wk ago last Sat. Watch had been stopped at 20 min to 10 o'clock & it is supposed it did not stop until day following disappearance. Coroner Lansdowne took chg of remains as soon as they were identified & had them removed to Hansen Undertaking Parlors...Manner in which OHare came to his death will probably always remain mystery. There is not mark on body which indicates any violence or foul play & friends of deceased insist OHare must have walked into water & met death in that way. Jury selected to look into case consists of Police Officer Clarence Stevens, Wm Smith, John Smith, John Zimmer, Rudolph Hopf & Charles McGivern. Inquest will be held at office of coroner tomorrow morning. John Ohare was 1 of best known residents of Kenosha. He was son of Patrick OHare & b Ire 57 yrs ago. At age 2 yrs he was brought to town of Brighton by his parents & he has been resident of co ever since. He is survived by widow & 5 children, Miss Alice OHare, Mrs Frank G Guardiola, Wm, Elizabeth & Joseph OHare. All are residents of Kenosha.
