John Pantry

hn Pantry (d. 1713) was the great-grandson of William Pantry, one of the founders of Hartford, Connecticut. He was the son of John Pantry and Abigail Mix.

He was born in Hartford, Connecticut and was the last of the Pantry name. However, the Pantry blood was transmitted through female lines in the Goodman, Goodwin, Jones, and Whitman families, and descendants bore the name into the generations of the late 1800's.

Pantry died in 1713 in Hartford, Connecticut.

He married Mary Norton, the daughter of John Norton and Ruth Moore. After John's death in 1713, she married Solomon Boltwood, the son of Samuel Boltwood, around 1721. She died at the age of 76 on May 24, 1763.
