John Phillips, of Henrico

According to information posted at the LDS website, familysearch.com, Henry and Martha (Whipple) Phillips had a son named John Phillips who was born 13 September 1665 in Henrico County VA and died 1 August 1740 in Rochester, NY. This John Phillips married Sophia Williams 30 June 1688 and had the following children:

2. Sarah Phillips b: 1693 in Talbot, Maryland, United States
3. George Phillips b: 8 JUL 1694 in Frederick, Maryland, United States
4. John Phillips b: 10 AUG 1696 in Frederick, Maryland, United States
5. Sallie Phillips b: 27 MAY 1698 in Frederick, Maryland, United States
6. Polly Phillips b: 1700 in Frederick, Maryland, United States

This John resembles John Phillips, of Sittenbourne Parish (his wife's other husband). Are they supposed to be the same person? Further research is warranted.
