Y., May 1, 1781, to the Commander-in-Chief's Guard, commanded by Lieutenant-Commandant William Colfax; rejoined regiment, June 1, 1781; transferred, Valentine's Hill, N. Y., August, 1781, to Captain Enoch Chase's Company; at battle of Yorktown, Va., October 19, 1781; transferred, October 31, 1781, to Captain Henry Bedkin's Troop, Colonel Charles T. Armand's Partisan Corps, Continental Troops; discharged, York, Pa., October, 1783.
Born in Lyndeborough, N. H., 1763 and died in Hyde Park, Vt on November 5, 1837.; married Olive Barron (born, Tyngsborough, Mass., February 24, 1765; died, Hartford, Vt, May 24, 1858), in Lyndeborough, N. H. on November 30, 1784, by Rev. Sewell Goodridge; with the following children:
