"Meorely," "Stafford's Freehold" and "Coopers" which testator purchased from George Plater, Shd. he die without hrs. this land to go to daus, Elizabeth Barnes and Gertrnde, also 400 A. "Miles End" at 20 yrs. and land purchased from Abraham Skippers. To dau. Anne, wife of Edward Lloyd and hrs, 500 A. "Rousby" in Queen Anne's County, 550 A, "Rousby's Discovery" on Kent Is. and 800 A. "Beverley" in Somerset Co. and "Piney Hill" in St. Mary's Co. all of which testator had from his uncle Christopher, deceased. To dau, Elizabeth Barnes (Baines), wife of Abraham and hrs,, land including that purchased by testator from George Plater on which George Young, Jr, lived. To dau. Gertrude, at 16 yrs., 446 A, which testator purchased from widow Clagett, 300 A. purchased from John Willis, 304 A. "St. James" purchased from Sebastian Thompson. To sis Elizabeth, wife of Richard Bennett, life interest in "The Wading Place," Queen Anne's County, land in Talbot Co, and the land upon which she lives. At her death to pass to testator's son John. This land was left sister afsd. by Francis, widow of Col. Peter Sawyer. To Dr. James Summerall, Charles King, and Thomas Aisy, gentlemen, of St. Mary's County, 100 A. land which testator purchased from Charles Cxowsen nr. Drum point, land in St. Mary's Co. which testator's uncle Christopher, purchased from Hugh Hopewell on which Richard Wise lived, 195 A, can which Christopher afsd. lived, 280 A. "Smith's Discovery." Land in St. Mary's Co. which testator purchased from William Manafarthing after the death of the owner, to be held in trust for Mary Thompson and arranged so that her husband can have no authority nor interest in same. At her death, this to go to her daus. Araminta who was baptized by Rev, Lak and Mary, baptized by Rev. Richard Chase, and their hrs. hd, they both die without hrs., this land to pass to testator's son John. To child, afsd. and child. of Mary Thompson, personal estate, Shd. Mary and Araminta afsd. die before their mother, testator wills that Mary Thompson be allowed to live in the white room of his plantation. Testator desires to be buried without feasting and rioting, Eqs.: Son-in-laws Edward Loyd and Abraham Barnes and son John.
