John (30) and Elizabeth Vice (28) and their two children Elizabeth aged 2years and Ann not quite one year old left on the Ocean for South Africa. The ship sailed from Gravesend and on to Portsmouth leaving on New Years day . John was a Gardener.

John's brother James , his Wife Sophia with their two Children John (8) James (3) while at sea their third child was born Samuel
