John Watkins, I

John Watkins was born abt 1588 in Court Robert, Monmouthshire, Wales. He was the son of Richard Watkins (1562-1612) and Jane (Edmunds) Watkins (1566-1622).

John married Agnes Huse (1589-?) in Court Robert, Monmouthshire, Wales in 1610. Her parents names are unknown at this time. John and Agnes Watkins were the parents of John Watkins who immigrated to Virginia in the United States and was the father of three children: Anne, Sarah and John Watkins.

John Watkins died in Jun 1653 in Monmouthshire, Wales or in London, England and is buried at St Mildred, Poultry Parish in London, England.
