To John Pleasant Woodson son of Tucker Woodson from Frances Macon, for 5 Shilling and affection to sd. John Pleasant Woodson in taking him under her care in a state of infancy and raising him to a mature age and further as an aunt to a sister's son and not having any issue of her own body doth hereby make choice of him the sd. John Pleasant Woodson to be the possessor of such part of her estate as shall be hereafter mentioned: viz: one pinch back watch, and equapage, one desk, one diamond ring, set in gold and also all that part of the slaves left her by her late husband Henry Macon, decd. Mar. 18, 1786. p. 359
