John de Barden

Agnes Wyman was a considerable York being the only child of John de Barden who was mayor of York in 1378 Her mother was daughter and heiress Thomas Thirkell another wealthy York citizen Her husband Henry Wyman d was an eminent citizen and goldsmith York in the reigns of Richard II and Henry IV He was bailiff of the city in the twelfth year of Richard II afterwards made an alderman and in the eighth year of IV he was elected lord mayor and discharged the duties of that high municipal office during three consecutive years.
