Will of John Carter

John, as son of Richard, is next full heir of all Richard's land. Rec'd Chapmansland (in Chipperfield) & Adamsfield from father Richard in 1440. Gave 6 acres to his uncle Edward's son Richard in 1443 . In 1441 took Chapmansland, Wappenhams, Huntfield, Dyingfield, Brodefield (late of William Pleystow).
