Brief overview:

Jonas (24), a farm worker employed by farmer, George Schempers, in Makhado, Limpopo, was found murdered outside his lodging on 19th September 2015. When Jonas didn't arrive for work, George went to look for him. He found Jonas lying in a pool of blood with a stab wound under his collarbone.

Makhado Police spokesperson Const Irene Radzilane said that robbery might have been the motive for the murder. Jonas’ room had been ransacked and his wages that he'd received on Friday were missing. The perpetrator/s appear to have gained entry into Jonas’s room by breaking the windows.

The police have opened a case of robbery and murder and their investigations continue.
