About Jonas A. Troyer

Millersburg - Jonas A. Troyer 74, of 4955 TR 367 Millersburg, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, September 19, 2021. He was born on August 24, 1947 to the late Alvin E. and Maryann (Yoder) Troyer. On February 11, 1971 he married Clara Keim who survives. Jonas was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church where he was ordained as deacon in 1981.

He is survived by his wife Clara and their thirteen children, Mary (Atlee) Yoder of Millersburg, Lisa (Mosie) Yoder of Baltic, Joseph (Rosanna) Troyer of Millersburg, Ella (Vernon) Hershberger of Baltic, Laura (Ivan) Raber of Sugarcreek, Susie (Ervin) Yoder of Sugarcreek, James (Mandy) Troyer of Baltic, Jonathan (Cindi) Troyer of Millersburg, Aaron (JoAnna) Troyer of Wilmot, Ruth (Duane) Yoder of Millersburg, Mose (Kati) Troyer of Sugarcreek, Cindy (Marlin) Hershberger of the home, and Jonas Jr (Lori) Troyer of Dundee; 69 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his brothers Mose (Katie) Troyer, Emanuel (Dala) Troyer, Ben (Susie) Troyer, Roy (Susan) Troyer, John (Alma) Troyer; his sisters Anna Troyer, Fannie Troyer, Mary (Dennis) Miller; a brother-in-law Cornelius (Edith) Fehr, and his mother-in-law Ella Keim.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Fehr, and two grandsons Jared Troyer and Anthony Troyer.

Funeral services will be held at Atlee Yoders (Hillside Buggy) 4947 TR 367, Millersburg on Wednesday, September 22, at 9:00 a.m. with Bishop Rueben Mast officiating. Burial will follow in the Troyer Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Monday and anytime on Tuesday.
