Jonathan Lord was born on 3 October 1726 at Colchester, CT. He was the son of John Lord and Experience Crippen.
Jonathan Lord married Ruth Rogers, daughter of Nathaniel Rogers and Silence Dimmock, on 20 November 1746 at prob., Middle Haddam Parish (later Chatham), CT.
Jonathan Lord died on 8 May 1805 at Norwich, VT, at age 78.
They lived first at Colchester, later Bolton, CT, moved about 1773 to Hanover, NH and finally to Norwich, VT.
